    Nickname: Walkie-Talkie Aki

    Best Features: Exquisite ‘racey’ feminine breed type. Connective personality. Lovely gently curved profile. Beautifully sculptured cheek bones. Correct bite. Full dentition. Deep fiery-amber eyes with a slight upward angle (they remind me of a Dragon’s eye.) Petite overall size and small head. Gently curved angles throughout her body composition. Consistent coat with Marcel waves all the way to the tip of her tail! Small petite paws.

    Fun Facts: Her name translate to ‘Autumn’ in Japanese and was originally named by her breeders. We loved the symbolism to her name so we kept it, Aki! One of her many nick-names is Walkie-Talkie because she is a Chatty Cathy. In my personal opinion, she defines perfect representation of the breed. A beautiful mix of her mother Solrex Bianca and Longin Cutie Coil. Thank you Mircea and Cristina! We love working with these lines.

    Best Features: Feminine, petite, and curvy. Her head is tiny and has great type consistent to our foundation. Beautiful and domed when necessary profile exuding femininity. Proportionate length in profile features. Egg shaped skull as the standard depicts. Eyes oval shaped – medium in size and slanting slightly upwards. Hues of bright yellow and golds in her eyes. Modelesque cheek bones. Correct bite and full dentition. Body is small in size, but retains great depth of chest and strong shoulders. Coat is soft, clean to the touch, and waved. Small petite paws.

    Fun Fact: Wanda is one of the smallest in the pride and also a very classy Queen. She helps the other cats in the house and is a loving and devoted mother. She expanded her resume to include adventure cat. We take her on Jeep trips to Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead all the time and she just sticks her head out the window like a dog. I would like to conclude and say that the nice thing about our cats is that they are bulleit proof. Nothing phases them. Their temperaments are spot on and another reason why I want to help this breed maintain and leave it better than when I found it. Forever a kitten – Always a Matjka.

    Nickname: VC, Vukey Dukey
    Best Features: Remarkable breed characteristics. Textbook profile with gentle curves. Large at base ear set compliments her outline greatly. Controlled and proportionate height of ears. Her head width is slightly wide completing the overall look. Cheeks chiseled and strong. Eyes large – oval in shape and correctly slanting upwards. They are have a canary yellow edge and green center to the iris. Correct bite with full dentition. Chin strong. Her body is powerful, but not masculine. Nice bone and shoulder set. Tail long and narrow with Marcel waves to the tip. Overall striking breed type.

    Fun Fact: She is named after one of my favorite cocktails. The Vieux Carre was born in New Orleans back in the 1930s. It is a French term meaning ‘Old Square’ referring to the French Quarter. VC is our wild child. Her spirit is strong and intense. Her personality is smooth and bodacious. She was a pleasant surprise from our breeder and dear friend, Yuliya. We sought out Yuliya’s specific lines to form the foundation of our cattery. We are very ’typey’ people in breeds like this and I full heartedly believe our foundation stock will perpetually contribute true-to-breed standards for decades to come.
